The first ever tournament we hosted as a ministry was a volleyball tournament – so every time we are able to do this tournament we consider it a great blessing as its a reminder that God isn’t finished with us. Nine teams showed up for a highly competitive tournament that was an absolute blast. Each team played 4 games before the playoff rounds. At the break John was able to speak to group about a God who sees us and knows us! Then the playoffs began and We All Natty Here fresh off a Flag Football win pulled the upset of the night defeating The All-stars who had been unbeaten, but they didn’t have enough left to pull off the win in the championship and Leftover Turkey from Riverside would be crowned as champions on the night! Nineteen years later it was amazing to see how God can use a love of sports to share the love of Christ!
