What an incredible picture of heaven this summer at the more than sports camps!! This last week for playground set the all time record with 156 campers registered! We had 42 staff this week as well which made for an incredible time for all! The smiles this week and the energy this week surpassed our expectations – lots of great competition and talking about CELEBRATING our life in Jesus! Lots of seeds planted through the morning show, the fun with coaches, the initiative activities that reinforced the virtue of the day – all the things that are “so much more than sports”!! Our testimony Tuesday for our staff brought about some amazing conversations and decisions for our staff as well! We had some staff that prayed with a couple of the pastors and friends that came to speak and share! What a PRAISE that is! Thank you for your investment, your encouragement and your prayers for us this summer!
What we have next that we REALLY need your help with is our Skybacher Golf Classic! This is scheduled for Sunday, August 11 at 2p at Blackhawk golf course! We still reallyneed golf teams, still need sponsors and still need prizes!! Could you get a team together to play this year? Could you or someone you know sponsor a hole for $100?Could you donate beverages for our beverage cart (beer & water)? Could you donate hotdogs and buns for our hotdog at the turn? Could you serve at the outing? We need help either set up team, event team and closing team. This will be a really great event – please try and join us!
