It was a cold and windy day, but that didn’t stop any of the 20 teams involved from having a good time at the Annual Flag Football Cereal Bowl. This year we collected an all new record ammount of cereal (139 boxes) to donate to 2 different local food pantries. We had 20 teams through various divisions take the field and compete for the title and hot pink t-shirts.
We also had nearly 40 students from the Waynesburg Men’s and Women’s soccer team come and help and volunteer for the day. There were amazing catches, and spectacular jukes and runs to the end zone. It all added up to another amazing Cereal Bowl tournament. At the break students were spoken to about the story of Zaccheus from Luke 19:1-10. No matter what label we have given to ourselves, or other has given us, Jesus calls us by name, and can use anyone to change other’s lives.
