Last year the waters were raging and we lost over a hundred ducks to the Gulf of Mexico. This year was the longest and slowest race that we’ve ever had. The race itself lasted nearly 30 minutes as the dry weather condintions and longer route lead to a very slow paced race. In the end though it was still a good time and we had 3 winners all of whom happened to be campers with us this summer. So we literally had 3 very happy campers who left with some extra vacation money. We held this years race during the second to last day of Playground Camp as New Sewickley has moved community days to a later date in the year. Thank you all to made this day and program possible.
