In the third and final game of the first week The Bandits battled West Side. Scotty Hinzy was all over the field for the Bandits as he passed for 2 touchdowns and ran for two others. West Side stayed composed and got a last minute drive with 6 seconds left. Cody Williams dropped back and was nearly sacked, but he lofted a pass into the air as time ran out. The ball was batted by 2 Bandit defenders but just before it hit the ground Matt Willis of West Side dove under the ball and pulled it in for a 30-28 victory. What a game!!!
