March seems like it has absolutely flown by. We’ve been memorizing scripture for Pray & Play, and had some really great turnouts now that the snow has seemed to stay away. This past weekend we held the 3-on-3 Slamrock. This was the best turnout that we had in years, maybe ever. We almost had our own March Madness field of 64!!! Ok not quite but we had 4 Middle school teams, 4 jr. high teams, and 11 open competitive. The students heard messages on never giving up, and being able to “all things” through Christ (Php 4:13). The older crew was challenged through the story of Jonah to reflect on whether they were skipping out, sleeping, or serving God and his promises. There was a lot of great basketball action and it all made for a great night.
