Skybacher Ministries wrapped up their first tournament of 2010 with the Arctic Dodgeball Blast. Eleven teams battled it out. The Punishers from New Brighton went 4-0 through the first round. The Kings were undefeated as well, while West Side and the Free Agent Guys lingered around at #3 and #4. After discussion on God’s passion for the “lost” and after a party was started in heaven, it was time for the playoffs to begin. The semi-finals would see West Side knock out the #5 seed Say No More, and The Punishers took down the always tough Kings to set up a final with West Side. In the final the Punishers were literally punishing West Side as they eliminated all but one of the West Side members. 8 Punishers against 1 West Side, and in an amazing turn of events it ended with 2 West Side members against 1 Punisher. West Side would carry that momentum into the next game and take home their 5th Championship of the school year. Congratulations to everyone who participated it was a great night of dodgeball.
