February was a very busy month at Skybacher Ministries. We kicked off things at The Freedom Place with a Dedication and Dinner Auction. Then we brought back the Someone Special Dance, while continuing to host Kickin’ It Futsal Nights, and Rise UP basketball. For over 20 years we have always held the Great Big Group date near or around Valentine’s Day to take the pressure of feeling a need to have a date we plan something fun to do as a group! February wasn’t working out so we moved it to early March (actually 2 days into March).
We had 26 students join us at The Milkshake Factory for some delicious milkshakes and good fellowship. Once we were filled up on sugar and chocolatey goodness, it was time to blast eachother with lasers at Laser Storm. Students we ducking and dodging lasers and sharing their statistics after each round. Our co-founder Kristie some how was named the MVP of round 2 and she let everyone know about it. It was just a great all around night of hanging out and having fun!
