This past April Skybacher Ministries held it’s Annaul Dodgeball Showdown (formerly known as the Dodgeball Smackdown) at Freedom Middle School. It was a groundbreaking event for several reasons. First T.J DiCiero and Jarek Melvin were a big help as they used this as their Senior Project. They did a great job of spreading the word and getting teams to come out. It was also the first tournament we have held at the Middle School. It proved to be a great venue as we had lots of space for spectators and the tournament itself. And finally proceeds of this event were donated to the John Challis Courage For Life Foundation.
As far as the actual tournament 5 teams battled it out. It was Team Anonymous that would take home the title with the Average Joe’s taking home the Middle School Title.
It all made for a great night! Congratulations to TJ and Jarek on their Senior Project, and congrats to Anonymous and the Average Joe’s
